Mercy, the word in the Hebrew Bible has it’s root in the word for womb. It represents a deep, protective love a mother has for her child. This is the love of God. Jesus speaks of, and models, mercy frequently in the Greek Bible. Mercy – acting and showing compassion, kindness, patience, lovingkindness, goodwill, mercy…
