How Do You View the Good Samaritan? Bas**rd, Hero, or Neighbor?

The Good Samaritan is a name many of us recognize. Either because we are familiar with the parable/story as shared in Luke 10:25-37, or because we are aware of the Good Samaritan Law, or we know of clinics and/or hospitals named after this "person." But what do you really think of this "person?"

Most of us may have a favorable view of him simply because of the reasons I've listed above.

But now you may be concerned, or confused, as to why I've offered some odd, or even unpleasant, considerations for this person.

This is the first in a short series of video posts about the Good Samaritan. In future posts we will look at the parable, the person who shared it, the central character, and even the audience who first heard this story.

Finally, we will consider what "take-aways" we should consider as we also place this as a foundational block for the interconnection of First Aid and God.
